High School Scholarship Program
The "People Helping People" high school scholarship program will
provide a four-year college scholarship to a graduating senior from each
of the 341 public and 2 charter high schools in North Carolina. The
scholarships are valued at $10,000 each. Each North Carolina public high
school will receive one scholarship, representing a financial commitment of
$7 million over the first two years of the scholarship program.
Scholarship recipient information (

School Scholarship Packet) must be submitted by the Scholarship
Selection Committee at each school. No individual "applications" are
reviewed by the Foundation.

Community College Scholarship Program
The SECU Foundation has established a major scholarship program to assist
students in each of the fifty-eight community colleges in the North Carolina
Community College System. There are 116 two-year scholarships valued at up to
$5,000 each. Each North Carolina community college will receive two
scholarships, representing a financial commitment to the entire community
college system of up to $580,000.
Scholarship recipient information (
