Museum of History - Lost Colony Project

SECU Foundation funded all student tickets for the Mysteries of the Lost Colony exhibit, when it was on display at the North Carolina Museum of History during October 2007 through January 2008. The exhibit included original watercolor drawings created by John White during the Roanoke expeditions dating back to 1585, that were on loan from the British Museum. Our grant afforded the opportunity for over 55,000 students to attend the exhibit. As the Lost Colony is a rich part of North Carolina’s past, the exhibit offered great educational value to all students.
