My Sister’s House - Guilford County

SECU Foundation partnered with North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) to support the construction of My Sister’s House by providing a zero percent construction loan for the project. My Sister’s House is a licensed group home for pregnant teens and their children in Greensboro, NC. This maternity home provides transitional housing for young women who are victims of domestic violence or are homeless, and is able to accommodate a combination of 10 residents (5 teen moms and 5 infants) and staff. The purpose of this facility is to provide a safe, stable, structured living environment for each mother and child with adult supervision, case management, counseling, and life skills training for its residents.
